Ultrafiltration for the microbiological suitability of water for irrigation

Project

Ultrafiltration equipment with a selectivity of 0.2 um., so it rejects bacteria, viruses, coronaviruses and Clostridium Perfringens spores, which according to the new European regulations, are the most limiting pathogens when it comes to reusing water for irrigation in food crops that are consumed raw.

In this treatment no chemicals are added to the water, so no undesirable compounds are generated, in addition to eliminating any suspended solids that may be carried away, thus improving the maintenance of the irrigation installation.

The equipment has an efficiency of 90-93%. The rest is water that is used for washing and can be recirculated to the head of the treatment facility.
