In order to guarantee the quality of the water and to supply 850 ha of the ‘Community of Water Irrigators of theTajo-Segura Transfer in Librilla, sector II’, two self-cleaning low pressure filtering stations have been installed in different areas:
Driving area with electricity supply by means of solar energy, 350ha. Thanks to the minimum pressure required by this solution composed of two filtering units, the design of the photovoltaic system has been optimised to the maximum, requiring less investment as the pressure required is reduced by 50% compared to other solutions. Gravity zone, 500ha. The solution is composed of 5 filtering equipments with an exclusive design for high flow projects in which the self-cleaning process is optimised.
This filtration solution guarantees maximum efficiency in the use of water and energy as it is a low pressure self-cleaning system with an optimised design to reduce water consumption during cleaning and maintenance of the filters.
