Artificial intelligence against climate change


This multidisciplinary project proposes the development of a high-performance IOT infrastructure in order to create autonomous decision support systems (SAAD), which optimize resources in intensive agricultural processes and prevent possible disasters resulting from climate change. In addition, a SAAD will be set up to identify problems related to natural disasters such as floods and fires.

The environmental solutions proposed are:

  • Optimization of natural and energy resources in greenhouses.
  • Development of a technology, based on a hardware and software infrastructure, aimed at combating climate change and mitigating some of the negative consequences of climate change.
  • Development of technology to drastically reduce the impact on the environment, improving the use of natural resources, reducing CO2 emissions and the main causes of climate change.
