Last Friday, April 24th, AZUD, a company integrated into AgritechMurcia, received the AENOR Zero Waste certification, a recognition that endorses its commitment to responsible, efficient and sustainable waste management.
This certification confirms that the company recovers more than 90% of the waste generated, reaching levels close to 98% in some processes, aligned with standards of excellence in the circular economy.
This milestone represents a new step forward in AZUD’s sustainability strategy and reinforces the differential value of the companies that are part of AgritechMurcia: efficient, responsible technological solutions focused on the major challenges facing today’s agriculture.
Sustainability, efficiency and commitment to responsible water use
The Zero Waste certification is part of AZUD BLUE, the company’s strategic program that connects sustainability, certification and business model under a clear proposal: “More profitable / More sustainable”.
From this perspective, AZUD understands sustainability as a real tool for improvement, competitiveness and differentiation. It is not only about reducing environmental impact, but also about integrating efficiency into all company processes, from production to operational management.
A step forward aligned with AgritechMurcia’s vision
For AgritechMurcia, this type of recognition reinforces the group’s ability to offer comprehensive, innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions adapted to the needs of each territory.
AZUD’s experience in precision irrigation, filtration, plant nutrition, digital management and water treatment contributes to positioning the Region of Murcia as an international benchmark in applied agricultural technology, water efficiency and sustainability.
