Within the framework of the Spain–Mozambique debt conversion program, feasibility studies were carried out on the electrification of an isolated area through a photovoltaic mini-grid.
The project aimed to provide sustainable and cost-effective renewable energy to rural communities not connected to the grid. The studies assessed solar resources, connectivity, economic viability, environmental impact, as well as technical, financial, and social aspects. Strategies for grid integration and implementation costs were also analyzed. Technical and administrative tender documents were also prepared for the procurement process.
