AgritechMurcia will resume technology transfer, research and training in Panama and neighbouring countries, through CIPAC, the Centre for Research and Production in Controlled Environment of Panama.

The main representative of CIPAC, the Centre for Research and Production in Controlled Environment of Panama, has recently visited the Region of Murcia, in order to analyse proposals for collaboration of the Centre he directs with the AgritechMurcia business ecosystem, to work together on lines of agro-technology transfer, research and training, relying on the vast experience and comprehensive knowledge accumulated by the Murcian agents and their ability to provide solutions in biotechnology, irrigation, controlled environment production, etc.

In a whirlwind trip, the director of CIPAC made contact with some of the greenhouse and controlled environment companies of AgritechMurcia, as well as with the IMIDA and CEBAS research institutes, to discuss possible strategic alliances with the AgritechMurcia platform that could contribute to the technology transfer process, both in Panama and other neighbouring countries.

The main objectives are to promote the supply of products and services, as well as the development and transfer of technology under the system of Vertical Agriculture (VA) and greenhouses, from the training of technicians and researchers and the design, construction and implementation of training units, research and production of Agriculture under Controlled Environment (AAC).
