The theme of this year’s International Congress, held in San Miguel de Allende (Guanajuato), is “Sustainability, Water demand management”.

The organization has brought together some of the world’s leading experts from Europe, USA, Israel, etc. to address the imminent needs for rationalization of water use.

Lines of commercial collaboration have been opened with companies and research centers of the AgritechMurcia business ecosystem due to the excellent international references and the need for efficient water management solutions in all areas.

AgritechMurcia participates in the Beyond Water International Fair in Mexico, in San Miguel de Allende (Guanajuato), with several presentations and first level contacts to explain to the economic agents of various Latin American countries the excellence in water management carried out in the Region of Murcia based on three pillars: knowledge, technology and the transfer of R+D+i. These commercial actions are highly relevant because they allow the AgritechMurcia business ecosystem to make known the efficiency in the use of water resources provided by the advanced technologies of the companies and research centers of the group, and it is materialized in international congresses like this one where the full potential of Murcian technology is made clear in forums where global strategic decisions are made,

Emilio Cobos, vice president of AgritechMurcia, says that the support of the public administration is essential to be present and these summits of first international level because it positions the Region of Murcia and its biotechnology companies, irrigation and next-generation technologies for agriculture, as essential references to achieve sustainable and efficient production.
