Producing fresh, top quality food and making it available to the local population is the aim of the global project that the company J. Huete International, a member of AgritechMurcia, has recently started in Senegal. The 20-hectare infrastructure also aims to boost the local economy, create new jobs and reduce the carbon footprint. This completes the entire production chain, from the planting of the seed to the consumption of healthy products. From the field to the table.
The project includes eight hectares of production under greenhouses; eleven hectares of outdoor production; 1,000m2 of seedbeds; 3,000m2 of conditioning centre; 30,000m3 of warehouses and a supermarket where fresh produce will be made available to the local population.
This large-scale project is expected to generate significant economic growth and create new employment opportunities in the local
